Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Agent at WorldWeav, you will play a pivotal role in our product development process by ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials for our outdoor protection solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply of materials.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and availability of materials relevant to our product development.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and budget assessments to optimize procurement processes and enhance cost efficiency.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the product development and manufacturing teams to understand material requirements and contribute to the overall success of the product development life cycle.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with suppliers to establish and maintain quality control measures, ensuring that materials meet WorldWeav’s high standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Agent or in a similar role, preferably in the textile or outdoor product industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices.
• Ability to analyze costs, market trends, and supplier performance.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
